MATTHEW SHIPLEY

Matthew was born and raised in New Jersey. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Illustration. He has been drawing for longer than he can remember and illustrating full time for a few years now. He has worked on a bunch of cool projects for a range of different clients. Matthew is known for his figurative and portrait work, where he loves to stretch proportions and use expressive color palettes.  

 

When not illustrating Matthew can be found watching and playing soccer. Even when he is illustrating there's a good chance there's a soccer game or podcast on. He lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wonderful wife, Elise, and his sons, Callum and Zack.
